Sant Carles de la Ràpita is a town in the Terres de l'Ebre located south of the Natural Park del Delta del Ebro. Thanks to its emplacement there is a perfect mix of sea and mountains. Therefore, it's a must for all tourists to visit the Delta and its beautiful surroundings. The Alfacs Bay, closed by the Punta de la Banya and the Trabucador, is a natural area with 5.894 ha; an average depth of 4 meters and a maximum depth of 6 meters, and it‘s one of the most important natural ports in Europe.

The Ebro Delta Natural Park is one of the most important wetland areas in the Mediterranean. It's the place where 95 different species choose to nest. 330 migratory birds species of the 600 in Europe use this space to hibernate, food and rest. Along the 320 square meters of the delta, you'll find long and wild sand beaches coexisting with lagoons, rice fields, vegetables and orchard gardens. Together offering a surprising landscape full of contrasts.

A lovely friendly hotel with a range of accommodation and facilities to suit all needs

I've just enjoyed another great stay at Hostal Agosti which is centrally located in the older part of town in a quiet street near to good facilities and the harbour and marinas. The hotel is family-run and the owners are very friendly and accommodating...
